KSC Ltd. delivered civil and structural works for the redevelopment of Cumberland House, a refurbishment project on Fenian Street in Dublin carried out for developer Hibernia. Our scope included the construction works associated with the new build element and its integration with the retained 1970s façade. The project required careful coordination to ensure compatibility between the existing structure and new construction works.

Works were carried out within a live urban environment, requiring detailed traffic management planning to maintain pedestrian and vehicle safety while minimising disruption on surrounding streets. The project involved complex sequencing to accommodate the constraints of working within an existing building structure while delivering modern construction requirements.

Cumberland House was subsequently completed to a high environmental performance standard and achieved LEED Platinum certification.
